In this webinar, Tracy Primeau of Agile Bear joins us for a conversational interview on life as a nuclear operator. Tracy is the first woman authorized to operate a nuclear reactor at the Bruce A site and the only Indigenous person to hold that distinction. She reflects on her career in nuclear operations, her identity as a member of Nipissing First Nation, her use of the Seven Grandfather Teachings in her leadership, her community work on Indigenous engagement and clean energy, and her path to board service. This webinar lets the audience hear Tracy’s story in her own words and then ask questions directly. The session followed a conversational interview format, giving Tracy the opportunity to reflect on her journey through the nuclear industry. As part of our Radiation Safety and Wellness Webinar series, the session is followed by a 20-minute wellness segment: beginner yoga with Mandel Fraser of Power Yoga West in Prince Edward Island.
