Reg 861 Application

This course was created to help small businesses in Ontario register their devices that can produce X-rays. According to Regulation 861 under the Ontario Health and Safety Act, this is a requirement for both machines that are designed to produce X-rays and machines that produce X-rays incidentally. This course does not address X-ray equipment used for human health care in Ontario, which are subject to the Healing Arts Radiation Protection Act, or those over 1 MeV, which are regulated by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission.

Healthcare Workers RA

An awareness level training in radiation safety for workers in Healthcare facilities who provide care to patients that have undergone nuclear medicine procedures or spend time near radiation sources.
