Transport Canada’s Client Identification Database: Impacts for Radioactive Material (TDG Class 7)
This course will explain the requirements for registration with Transport Canada’s Client Identification Database (abbreviated as CID) under Canada’s Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations. It is provided free of charge for information purposes only, is not legal advice, and has no associated certificate. The final authority on this topic is Transport Canada, so detailed questions should be answered by them.
The course will provide some specific examples on how the new registration requirements relate to Radioactive Material (TDG Class 7). It should be noted, however, that the amendments to the TDG regulations apply to the transportation of all dangerous goods classes in Canada, and the majority of the information applies for all types of dangerous goods. If a person or company transports other dangerous goods, registration will still be required, but this course will not provide exemptions or other information for any other class of dangerous goods than those relating to Radioactive Material (TDG Class 7).
